Here is a coppersmith in the workshop where he
recreates and reproduces early lighting devices
such as chandeliers, sconces, post lights, wall
lights and lanterns using similar techniques
and tools of years gone by; bringing continuity
between the old world and the new.
Another popular question asked is, "what is the proper sized
chandelier?".   In rooms of average size (12 x 14'), we suggest
chandeliers in the range of 12-24" in diameter.  In larger rooms
(14 x 16' or more), we recommend chandeliers at least 24-30" in
diameter.  Consider a double-tiered or paired chandeliers in even
larger rooms.
A popular question asked is, "What is the  proper
height that a chandelier hangs"?  Our response is
that the bobeche, or drip pan at the base of each
candle should be about 37" above the table.
